Over the past week, Israeli anti-government protesters have continued to take to the streets en masse across the country, marching, blocking roads, and disrupting public transport. On Saturday, tens of thousands of protesters marched to the Knesset in Jerusalem, with many camping outside and staging demonstrations that were violently broken up by police.
On Monday, the governing coalition passed a major component of its judicial overhaul plans, a law that will limit the courts’ ability to review government decisions. The anti-government movement has vowed to continue protesting.
