Last Sunday, nearly half of Israel’s government joined a march vowing to establish Jewish settlements in Gaza. Local Call’s Oren Ziv reported from the event, where thousands of right-wing activists walked through a closed military zone to the Gaza fence, singing genocidal anthems as soldiers handed out bottled water.

The Palestinian villages of Sebastia and Nabi Samwil are home to some of the West Bank’s major heritage sites. As Shatha Yaish detailed, the Israeli army has been using this archaeological significance as a pretext to expropriate thousands of dunams of land and further isolate Palestinian communities.
