Roy Cohen is a writer and a filmmaker, born in Ashdod to an Algerian-Moroccan family. In his work, he deals with artificial intelligence, LGBTQ identities, political art, grief and taboo. He’s been published in the Guardian, El Mercurio (Chile), Freitag and others. In 2023 he was named by Globes magazine as one of Israel’s 40 under 40 promising leaders.
